What is Call Park?
Think of Call Park as a "public hold."
- Hold: Only you can pick the caller back up from your specific phone.
- Park: You "park" the caller in a numbered spot (like Spot 901), and anyone in the office can pick them up from any phone by dialing that spot number.
How to Park a Call
From your Desk Phone:
- While on an active call, press the Park soft key (or the ... More button if you don't see it).
- The system will announce the parking spot number (e.g., "Call parked on 901").
- Hang up. You can now tell a colleague, "There’s a call for you on 901."
From the Unite Desktop/Mobile App:
- During a call, click the More (...) button.
- Select Park Call.
- A notification will appear on your screen showing the 3-digit parking extension.
How to Retrieve a Parked Call
- Pick up any phone in the office.
- Dial the Parking Spot Number (e.g., 901).
- Press Send or Dial. You are now connected to the caller.
Note: If a parked call isn't picked up within 60 seconds (default), it will ring back to the person who originally parked it so the caller isn't left stranded!
