OpenVPN Connection Guide
1. Launch the Application 
Double-click the OpenVPN GUI icon on your desktop or select it from the Start Menu.
- Note: This starts the service in the background; a window may not pop up immediately.
2. Locate the System Tray Icon

Look for the OpenVPN icon (a small computer screen with a lock) in the System Tray (bottom-right corner near the clock).
- Tip: If you don’t see it, click the up arrow (˄) to show hidden icons.
3. Initiate Connection
Right-click the icon and select Connect.
4. Log In
When the login window appears, enter your Agency Username and Password.
5. Verify Status
The icon will turn green once you are successfully connected.

Accessing Files & Disconnecting
- Network Folders: Access your files as usual. For detailed instructions, visit the Network Drive Guide.
- To Disconnect: Right-click the green icon in the tray and select Disconnect.

Important Notes
Cisco AnyConnect: You do not need to uninstall AnyConnect yet, but it must be disconnected before you attempt to use OpenVPN to prevent network conflicts.
- Remote Access: This guide specifically pertains to staff using laptops who need access to files while working remotely.
- Troubleshooting: If the connection fails, verify that your Wi-Fi or Ethernet is active and stable before trying again.
